The Autumn Flowering Gentians have been raised from species originating from the high mountains of the Himalaya and China. These plants are very hardy and require a lime-free compost that does not get too dry and need a sunny position to flower well.
We grow a range with flowers varying from white through pale blue to striped and dark blue forms. Most will flower for a long period through the Autumn months.
We can provide a collection a collection of 6 different Autumn Flowering Gentians in a range of colours from white, through pale turquoise blue to rich dark blues.
All can be grown in a lime free compost in containers or in the garden.
