Talks

We have been established now for over 40 years and as Alpine Plant Specialists we have several talks on Alpines. “Alpines for Everyone” is a fairly general talk on a range of the plants we grow and sell. “My Favourite Alpines” is another talk on our plant range but with more about my own favourites. The talk “Alpines for Troughs and Raised Beds”, includes both Alpines and woodland plants that can be grown in raised beds and containers with some ideas for making containers and raised beds. We have a talks on “Primulas” as we grow a lot of different primulas, “Roscoeas and other Woodland Garden Plants” and a talk including some propagating hints. Plus we give talks on our range of “Woodland Garden Plants”, and, as exhibitors at various Flower Shows for many years, including Chelsea, we have a talk on Showing, which covers setting up our displays and featuring a range of the plants we grow and show called “Going for Gold”.

We can bring a laptop and digital projector along with us to talks, but it would be useful if you could provide a projector stand and screen, plus tables for us to sell plants from. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

We charge a fee for talks, please enquire for current rate, plus travelling expenses. We can also bring plants along to sell to your members, if this is acceptable.
