A tiny non-climbing sub-shrub found in New Zealand as recently as the 1970’s forming small mounds, eventually 30cm across after many years, of dark green ferny leaves. Opening Times

The Nursery will be open in 2026 on our “Open Weekends” of Friday, Saturday and Sunday 27th, 28th February and 1st March (Weather permitting), then we plan to be open on the Friday, Saturday and Sundays of 20th, 21st and 22nd March; 24th, 25th and 26th April; 22nd, 23rd and 24th May; 26th, 27th and 28th June; 24th, 25th and 26th July; 28th, 29th and 30th August; 18th, 19th and 20th September and 16th, 17th and 18th October when we hope to welcome visitors to view the progress in the garden and we will have a wide selection of plants available for sale. We will be open from 11.30am and 4.00pm each day on these weekends – Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

At all other times by Appointment – please give several days notice. A list of the plants you are looking for is helpful before you arrive. We will also be open by appointment through the National Garden Scheme, NGS when we hope to welcome small groups to the garden.
