Neil and Sue Huntley invite you to visit their Hardy Plant Nursery high in the North Pennines.
This family run nursery was established in 1975 and specialises in propagating, growing and selling some of the rarely offered hardy plants from around the world.
The wide range of old and new species and varieties includes Alpines, Primulas, Spring and Autumn Flowering Gentians, Rock Garden Plants, Woodland Garden Plants, Dwarf Conifers, Dwarf Rhododendrons and Hardy Ferns. Something for everyone from the beginner to the specialist.

The Nursery is situated on the scenic A686 Alston to Penrith Road, one and a half miles from Alston

Opening Hours
The Nursery will normally be open during the following hours.
2nd Saturday in March - 3rd Saturday October -
Mon-Fri 11.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 12 .30 - 4.00 pm.

When we are busy at major Flower Shows, the Nursery may not be open.
A phone call to check we are open may be advisable.
